.: Six Flags Worlds of Adventure :.
Six Flags Worlds of Adventure used to be known as Geauga Lake and then also Six Flags Ohio until the Six Flags park bought out its neighboring Sea World and combined the 2 parks into one park during the 2001 season. The park is set on the banks of Geauga Lake which gives it some beauty it would not otherwise have. While they have a vast array of different coaster types the park has very small walkways that barely handle the crowds. The staffing at this park tends to leave something to be desired however.
New for 2001 is X-Flight which essentially puts the rider in a true Superman-esque flying position. It is a great ride but does suffer from breakdowns frequently and can have a very long line.
The addition of what used to be Sea World gives this park tons of room to expand on. However it does make it very difficult getting around as it seems to take forever to get from one side to the other. There are plenty of shows and animal exhibits to browse through that will entertain everyone in the family. If you really want to make the most of the park expect to stay at least one full day and consider a second day.
